Pigeon Shooting
For school parties only
Arena offers the opportunity for students to learn and master Clay Pigeon Shooting in a safe environment with qualified instructors. With the UK providing several World Champions in various disciplines, Clay Pigeon Shooting is an ideal activity for those who wish to broaden their range of sporting skills. It is also open to all regardless of fitness and physical strength.
Arena provides the CPSA qualified
instructors, 12 & 20 bore guns (ideal for ladies), low velocity
cartridges, clays and ear defenders.
Sessions will involve both practice and competition shoots over several stands.
Equipment Required:
Warm, waterproof clothing, sturdy footwear, thin gloves and a padded top i.e. thickish sweater/coat is ideal.
Times:
2 ½ hours is required for the 35 clay shoot to include initial briefing and demonstration.
Food & Drink:
The BarBQs in the Safety Area are available for your use. Please note that you will need to provide charcoal and cooking implements. We do not charge for this facility, but you are requested to take all rubbish away with you at the end. We have facilities on-site for recycling clean plastic (No 1, 2 & 3 only) and glass.
Adult Supervision:
We require 1 adult per 10 participants.
Price:
£65 per head to include VAT. This price is based on a minimum of 12 participants. We can take a maximum of 24 participants at any one time.
Off Site Events:
The Clay Pigeon Shooting takes place at the Arena site, but we can take the event to schools and colleges providing that they have a current Section 11(6) Certificate issued by their local Police Firearms Officer.
Transport to the site:
We urge organisers to use cars and mini buses, and not coaches, if at all possible. However if coaches are used access must be down Rosemary Lane from the A21.
Arena Pursuits is located just off the A21 (London – Hastings) between Lamberhurst and Flimwell, 8 miles from Tunbridge Wells and 21 miles from Junction 5 of the M25. We can arrange transport to and from Wadhurst Station, which is 59 minutes down the line from Charing Cross/Cannon Street.
