Arena Pursuits is a Corporate Entertainment, Team Building and Outdoor Pursuits company based on 250 acres on the Kent/Sussex border, overlooking Bewl Water.
This Junior Adventure Party combines a range of activities which foster teamwork, communication skills and initiative, but most of all FUN!
The participants are given clues that will lead them to various obstacles and tasks, which have to be overcome before they can move on. These may be crossing lava flows, doing an assault course, orienteering, or a Canal Crossing. They will also have the opportunity to improve their marksmanship skills using the paintball marker guns firing at targets.
Arena Pursuits is located near Flimwell in East Sussex (21 miles South of the M25). It is half a mile from the main London-Hastings road, and is within easy reach of London and all the major centres in Sussex, Surrey and Kent. The site is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty overlooking Bewl Water.
Supervision & Safety:
Strict attention has been paid to the development of a safe environment for Activity Programmes. Arena Pursuits provides one marshal per group to undertake marshalling duties, and requires 1 adult for every 8 participants to accompany the group. There is no charge for adult supervisors.
Clothing:
All participants must bring sturdy footwear, and warm, if possible waterproof, clothing, and a complete change of warm kit and footwear. THIS IS ESSENTIAL THROUGHOUT THE YEAR! During winter months hats and gloves are a MUST.
Food and Drink:
Participants can bring packed lunches, clearly marked, or use our barbecue facilities by prior arrangement. These facilities are free of charge, but can cooks please bring their own food, charcoal and cooking utensils! We can help you to light the barbecue. Arena may be able to cater if required (see below under Optional Extras). The event lasts for 3 hours and if you wish to eat afterwards please allow a maximum of 45 minutes extra for collection purposes. Please note that parents/teachers are responsible for their group during this time on site.
We have unlimited fresh water for drinking so please refrain from bringing bottled water - you will significantly reduce the need for recycling and help save the planet too!

 BBQS & PICNICS - Recycling the Recyclable - Removing the Rest
As always, we are happy to offer our visitors the use of the undercover BBQ and Picnic Area on the day of their event. However, we cannot cope with the enormous amount of rubbish which gets left after the parties - on busy weekends we can have up to 20 black bags to deal with.
We have bins on site to recycle glass, clean plastic bottles and aluminium cans. For everything else – PLEASE TAKE IT HOME!!
It is the responsibility of the parent/teacher to ensure that the picnic/barbecue area is cleared up after use. Party Poppers are not encouraged!

Optional Extras:
Group barbecues £12.50 per head for catering provided by Arena Pursuits. This must be requested at the time of booking the Party. Minimum number required 10.
Booking:
In order to book your Adventure Party, please telephone the Office on 01580 879614 giving us:
- the date on which you would like to participate , and
- the number of children in the group
Once you have provisionally booked with Arena, please print out and complete the booking form and return it within 7 days enclosing £10 deposit per child by cheque, made out to ARENA PURSUITS LTD, and the name and telephone number of accompanying adult. The balance will then be collected on arrival/departure. We accept credit and debit cards.

Coaches:
We encourage larger groups to use mini buses but if coaches are used there are double gates 1/3rd of a mile down Rosemary Lane off the A21, which lead directly to the safety area with adequate parking and turning. This is preferable to coming down Rosemary Lane from Ticehurst/Flimwell end.
